॥ संक्षिप्त लग्न नवांश फलाध्यायः त्रयोविंशः ॥

Brief Chapter on the Results of the Ascendant Navamsa.

Shloka 1

१. भागाधिपः श्रेष्ठबलो विलग्ने यदा भवेत्केंद्रमुपागतो वा ।
स भाग संज्ञोऽपगतस्य राशेः कृतस्वभावं विदधाति पुंसाम् ॥

Bhaaga-adhipah shreshtha-balo vilagne yadaa bhavet-kendram-upaagato vaa.
Sa bhaaga sangyo-pagatasya raasheh krita-svabhaavam vidadhaati pumsaam.

Meaning:
When the Lord of the Ascendant Navamsa (Bhagadhipa) possesses excellent strength and is placed in the Ascendant (Lagna) or in a Kendra (Angle), he bestows upon the person the nature, physical appearance, and qualities associated with that specific Navamsa Sign.

(Note: This implies that if the Navamsa Lord is strong and well-placed, the native's personality and appearance will be more influenced by the Navamsa sign than the Rashi chart Ascendant.)

जपाकुसुमसंकाशं काश्यपेयं महाद्युतिम् । तमोऽरिं सर्वपापघ्नं प्रणतोऽस्मि दिवाकरम् ॥
