Chapter 9 — Rahu
Rahu represents the Head (intellect/obsession), Electricity, Sudden Events, In-laws, and Prison. It is the “Elephant” of the zodiac—powerful, unstoppable, but capable of crushing its own master (Mahout) if not controlled.

The Elephant on the Stairs

Summary: “Elephant climbing a ladder.” You are destined for a high position. Like an elephant rising high, you have immense power and status. The government or authorities will favor you.

  • You will conquer your enemies easily.
  • You are likely to hold a high administrative post.
  • If you panic or act rashly, the “elephant” falls and crushes you.

Summary: “Religious and wealthy.” Rahu here changes from a demon to a pilgrim. You are destined to change things—renovating old houses or changing traditions.

  • Changing the roof of your house or renovating the toilet can trigger bad luck.

  • Do not renovate the roof or toilet while your wife is pregnant.
  • Do not accept coal or charcoal.
