Lal Kitab: The Simplified Edition

The Core Principles

Lal Kitab: The Simplified Edition

Before delving into predictions, one must understand the unique grammar (Vyakaran) of Lal Kitab. Unlike standard Vedic Astrology, this system operates on a distinct set of rules regarding houses, aspects, and planetary relationships.

1. The Philosophy: Destiny vs. Remedy

The Lal Kitab does not claim to change your destiny entirely. Instead, it acts like a “support wall.” If a wall is about to fall (representing bad destiny), these remedies provide a prop to hold it up. It essentially removes the “stones” blocking the flow of your life’s water.

The Golden Rule: Remedies act as a shield. They cannot prevent death, but they can ease suffering and remove obstacles.
Warning: Do not use this knowledge to harm others. It is intended strictly for self-defense and peace.

2. The “Fixed House” System (Pakka Ghar)

In standard astrology, your first house changes based on your rising sign (e.g., Gemini Ascendant). In Lal Kitab, the House Layout is Permanent. We map your planets into a chart where House #1 is always Aries and House #12 is always Pisces. We read the result of the planet sitting in that house, regardless of the zodiac sign.

3. Planetary Relationships

Lal Kitab uses a specific logic for friendship. A planet may be friends with another, but that friendship might not be returned.

Planet Friends (Helpers) Enemies (Harmers)
JupiterSun, Moon, MarsMercury, Venus
SunMoon, Mars, JupiterVenus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu

4. Unique Planetary States

Lal Kitab identifies specific conditions that alter how a chart is read:

Blind Planets (Andhe Grah)

If House #10 contains two planets that are enemies (e.g., Sun and Saturn), the entire chart becomes “Blind.”
Result: The person struggles to find direction in career and life, regardless of how good the other planets are.
Remedy: Feed 10 blind people.

Sleeping Houses (Soya Ghar)

If a house has no planets, it is considered “asleep.” It needs to be “woken up” by a specific planet looking at it.

Sleeping Planets (Soya Grah)

A planet that is not active. For example, if the 1st House is empty, Mars (the natural ruler) is considered asleep.

Artificial Planets (Masnui Grah)

Two planets can combine to create the effect of a third planet.

  • Sun + Venus together act like Mercury.
  • Sun + Saturn together act like Mars (Bad).

5. Planetary Aspects (Drishti)

Lal Kitab does not use the complex degrees of Vedic astrology. It uses simple “House-to-House” looking rules:

100% Aspect (Full Impact)

  • Planet in House 1 looks at House 7.
  • Planet in House 4 looks at House 10.

50% Aspect

  • Planet in House 3 looks at Houses 9 and 11.
  • Planet in House 5 looks at House 9.

25% Aspect

  • Planet in House 2 looks at House 6.
  • Planet in House 6 looks at House 12.
  • Planet in House 8 looks at House 2.
Important Rule: Planets in earlier houses affect planets in later houses. Planets in later houses generally do not affect planets in earlier houses (except for the “Retrograde” look of House 8 to 2).
